The Husband's Calling to Loving Leadership

The husband has a high calling in the marriage relationship. He is called to be a reflection of Jesus Christ. As head over his wife he is not only responsible for the spiritual well-being of his wife but also leading her in authority. Husbands are commanded to love their wives; which is ultimately how they rule in authority. How do husbands rule in love over their wives? How does the husband show he is a picture of Christ in the different areas of the marriage bond?
