Rev. Ronald Van Overloop was ordained and installed into the ministry in October of 1972 at Hope Protestant Reformed Church, Walker, Michigan. In 1979 he accepted the call to serve as home missionary and labored in Birmingham, AL and later near Roselle, IL. In 1989 he accepted the call to serve in the newly-organized Bethel Protestant Reformed Church, Roselle, IL. In 1994 he accepted the call to the newly-organized Georgetown Protestant Reformed Church in Hudsonville, MI. In 2004 he received and accepted the call to serve as pastor of the Byron Center (MI) Protestant Reformed Church. In November of 2008 he was installed as pastor of Grace Protestant Reformed Church, Standale, MI
