Mr. Holstege is bringing a word of edification to the saints in Bethel PRC today.

Pastor Kuiper will travel to Lynden, WA on Wednesday to assist in church visitation there Wednesday night; he plans to return on Thursday, God willing.

We rejoice with Matt and Melissa Regnerus in the birth of a daughter, Aubrey Grace, last Thursday.  Melissa and Aubrey are well.

Ted DeVries was hospitalized in Fond du Lac this past Wednesday because of extreme weakness and confusion.  Doctors also found that his lung which has tumors in it had collapsed.  As of Friday afternoon he had improved slightly.

The consistory has nominated Eugene Braaksma, Gary Buteyn, James Kooiker, and George Vroom Jr to the office of elder, and has nominated Bob Alsum and Jon Regnerus to the office of deacon.  Two elders must be chosen to replace Elders Dave and Lou Regnerus; and one deacon must be chosen, to add a third deacon.  Any lawful objection to these nominations must be brought to the attention of the clerk as soon as possible, so that the consistory may treat the objection.  A lawful objection is one which alleges that the election of any one of these nominees violates principles of the Church Order or God's Word in Titus 1, I Timothy 3.
