of our young people have left, or will soon leave, for college. Derek
Buteyn left last Monday to return to Dordt, and Dani Vroom will leave this week

before the consistory to request baptism for his daughter, Gracia Beth;
the consistory approved this request and scheduled baptism for the morning
of September 12.
- The consistory received the
membership papers of Mrs. Jennifer VanBaren from Loveland PRC. We
welcome Jenn to our church family.
- The consistory consented to
the request of Peace PRC to take the spiritual oversight of Mr. Jim Blankespoor
while he lives in our area.
- The consistory adopted a proposal that, beginning September 12, the congregation recite the Apostles' Creed in unison at the afternoon service (the congregation will sit to do so); and that the congregation join the pastor in reciting the creed in the prayer of the Lord's Supper form. A full explanation of this, with the grounds, was emailed to you, or can be found in your mailbox.

How often do you read a book that you’ve never heard
of? Statistics say that the vast majority of books are read
as a result of referral or review. The Reformed Free Publishing
Association wants to encourage our readers to review an RFPA book and
post it to the website at www.rfpa.org. Our new site provides an easy "review" tab for each
publication for this purpose. Reviews are vital
for potential readers who are not familiar with
our publications and would like to
hear what our readers have to say
about our books!
