We welcome all who have come to worship with us today. May the preaching of God’s Word be a blessing to us as we worship together on this Lord’s Day.

Our pastor remains on vacation this week. We welcome Prof. Engelsma to our pulpit and fellowship today.

The sacrament of baptism of Annika Lilly, infant daughter of Jonathan and Tricia Kamps will take place at the morning service next Sunday.

The Consistory has granted the request of Miss Erin Brunnick to become a member of our congregation here at Hope. She comes to us having been a confessing member of First Jenison CRC. The congregation is now given opportunity to give their formal approval or approbation. If there are no lawful objections voiced to the clerk by September 2, her request for membership will be complete.

Letters of thanks were received from the RFPA for a collection for the Standard Bearer and for RFPA book publishing.

The Deacons will meet Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

The next couple of months the Council will make nominations for special officebearers. In harmony with article 22 of the Church Order, the congregation is reminded that “members have an opportunity to direct attention to suitable persons.” This may be done by contacting any member of the Council.
