Council

Confessions of Faith:  This evening Matt DeBoer, Courtney Peterson, Annie Zuverink, Kamy Zwak, and Kyle Zwak will publicly confess their faith in Jesus Christ.  May the Lord give them grace to live their confessions.

Deacons will meet Wednesday, July 1, at 7:00 PM.

Consistory will meet Thursday, July 2 at 7:00 PM.

Church Picnic:  Thanks to Mr. Will Haveman and Mr. Todd Timmerman for coordinating our church picnic and to all those who helped with the planning of the games and the delicious dinner.  We had a great turnout and a wonderful night of fellowship was enjoyed by all.

Our Church Family

Sympathy:  We express our Christian sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Bernie Bruining in the death of Mrs. Bruining's sister, Lena Balkema, from Kalamazoo.  The funeral was held on Saturday.  May they and their family be comforted by the words of Philippians 1:21, "For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain."

Outings and Activities

Recycle:  There is a blue recycle bin in the back of church for any papers you would like to recycle.  Please remember, it is for paper only; no cardboard or plastic or trash.

Life Group:  Our next meeting will be Monday MORNING, June 29, from 9:00 to 11:15-11:30.  We will be going to LOVE INC. and then walking to Hudsonville Lanes for ice cream.  We will not have Bible Study that day.  Parents are asked to drop their children off at church by 9:00 a.m. and can pick them up at Hudsonville Lanes between 11:15 and 11:30.  There will be a sheet with more detailed information on the table in the back of church on Sunday, June 28. LOVE INC. would like us to have 6 adults to help supervise the girls, so we will also have a sign-up sheet for anyone able to volunteer to help that morning.  Any questions, please call Pam Hoekstra (896-8240) or Amy Westing (893-0350).

  • Rev. R. Kleyn preaches his farewell in Trinity PRC tonight. 
  • Rev. D. Kleyn was installed as missionary to the Philippines this past Wednesday night in Doon.  He will preach his inaugural sermon in Doon today.

Reformed Witness Committee of Hope PRC (Walker) will present the 2009 Summer Class Series on each Tuesday in July at 7:30 PM.  Prof. H. Covenant Christian High School:  Enrollment will be held on Monday, July 13 from 7 - 9 PM.  Enrollment packets were mailed out last week Tuesday.  Please notify the school office if you did not receive yours.
