Church Family

Birth:  We rejoice with Nick and Lauren Dykstra who were blessed with the birth of a baby girl, Natalie Joy, this past Wednesday.  Both Lauren and Natalie are doing well and returned home.

Fire:  Derek and Leanne Cnossen have been living with Leanne's parents, Prof. and Mrs. Cammenga.  This past week the Cammenga's home sustained damage from a fire.  The Lord spared their lives and no one was hurt.  The family confesses the goodness of God.  This reminds us not to set our hearts on the things that perish.  Let us remember these families in our prayers.  "O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto thee?  or to thy faithfulness round about thee?"  Psalm 89:6.

Our Sick:  Lois Kamps was moved from Holland Hospital to the Robert Brown Center.

Thank You:  A special thank you to the congregation for the many prayers, cards, and other expressions of sympathy shown with the death of our father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  John 14:1-2 “Let not your heart be troubled:  ye believe in God, believe also in me.  In my Father’s house are many mansions:  if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.”  Rich and Kathy Feenstra; Keith, Holly and Cody Feenstra; Doug, Rachel, Dylan and Ashlee Feenstra.

Thank You:  We would like to thank the congregation for the prayers and cards received in the death of our son and brother.  Psalm 73:24  Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.”  Mr. John Bodbyl, George and Mary Lynn Postmus

Thank You:  Thanks to many the people who were so kind to visit, bring food and so many expressions of concern and love and encouragement for my birthday and surgery.  It is such a wonderful experience to be part of the body of Christ.  Thank be to God.  Psalm 46:11 “The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.”  Gord VanOverloop

Thank You:  We would like to thank everyone for all the cards, visits, meals, gifts, words of encouragement and especially the prayers.  God’s amazing grace has been manifested to us through the beauty of the communion of the saints.  “Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.”  In Christ, for Whom we wait, Bev Kuiper and Family.
