      Pulpit: Elder Solanyk will lead the service this morning.

      Rev. Miersma:  Your pastor will return to Swedish Medical Center this Tuesday for an angiogram as follow-up to the procedure done earlier this summer.

      Song Service:  The monthly song service will be tonight after the evening service.

      Preparatory/Lord’s Supper:  There will be preparatory services this evening with a view to partaking of the Lord’s Supper next week Sunday morning.

      Denominational News:  Cornerstone PRC has called Rev. J. Slopsema.  Byron Center PRC called Rev. Haak.  Bethel PRC will call a minister from a trio of Prof. Engelsma and Revs. Eriks and Koole.  First PRC of Holland will call a minister from a trio of Revs. Key, Koole, and W. Langerak.

      From the Contact Committee:  Synod 2009 has authorized the CC to assist the Berean PRC of the Philippines and Covenant PRC of Northern Ireland in the financial support of Mr. Vernon Ibe and Mr. Martyn McGeown during their time of study at our seminary.  Funding for this support comes from collections taken in our churches for the Foreign Student Assistance Fund.  Based on collections received so far this year, a $10,000 shortfall is anticipated.  We ask for your prayerful consideration and support of this worthy cause.

      Reformed Witness Hour:  Tune into the RWH today at 1:30 p.m. on KLTT 670 AM to hear a message on: “In Praise of Sovereign Grace: Preservation of the Saints” John 17:11-12.

      Singspiration:  The Young People will be sponsoring a Singspiration tonight, after the evening worship service.  A collection will be taken to help the young people of our congregation pay for their expenses to attend the 2010 P.R. Young People's Convention.  Please join us in singing praises to our God.

      RETREAT:  The Young Adults Society of the Loveland PRC will be hosting a retreat to be held in March, 2010, D.V. All post-high to age 30 young adults are invited to attend! Please email lovelandyaretreat@yahoo.com with questions.

      From Hope Mothers Circle:  COMING SOON, His Glory Tell, is an arrangement of psalms by Marilyn DeVries played on the organ.  This CD will be available early December.  All orders received by December 1, will be delivered by Christmas. There is a sign-up sheet on the table in the narthex or you can contact Phyllis Brands.

      Drive:  The Protestant Reformed Special Education Drive is being conducted the weeks of November 15 and 22 through the mail.  Our goal this year is $104,000.  We earnestly pray that with God’s gracious help we can attain this goal.  If you did not receive a letter, or have any questions, please call Brandon Van Overloop (616-669-4816) or Bern Zandstra (616-534-3865).

      Cookbooks:  Covenant Christian School of Lynden Washington is selling the remainder of their cookbooks, Home Cookin', for $10 each.
