The congregation extends a hearty welcome to any who are visiting with us.  Please note that the order of our worship service can be found on the back of the bulletin.  Our prayer is that together we might worship our triune God in a manner that is pleasing to Him.

It is the privilege of the congregation to witness this morning the sacrament of baptism as it is administered to Drew Martin, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Alyssa Knecht, and to Annette Beth, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Beth Vermeer.  We give thanks to God for this beautiful and comforting picture of His covenant with His people.  “I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.”  Psalm 89:1

Miss Katheryn Poortinga has returned to Rest Haven.  Let us continue to remember this sister in our prayers.

Next week our pastor will be at the Young People’s Convention.  Those who have pastoral needs are asked to contact one of the elders.  Rev. Bruinsma will be filling our pulpit next Sunday.

The July Council meeting has been rescheduled for next week Wednesday, July 23, at 7:30 PM.

The evening worship service next week will be preparatory with a view to celebrating the Lord’s Supper, D.V., on Sunday morning, July 27.

Please reserve September 13 for a combined society cookout at the parsonage.  More details to follow.

Please note that there is a letter from Trinity Protestant Reformed Church of Hudsonville, MI, posted on the bulletin board which gives details of a planned Deacons’ Conference scheduled for this fall.  The theme is “The Office of Deacon in Tough Economic Times.”

There are also two letters of thanks posted on the back bulletin board.  One letter is from Hope Protestant Reformed Church for our recent collection for the saints in Myanmar.  The other is from Faith Christian School of Randolph, WI,  thanking our congregation for the collection taken on their behalf.

If you would like a copy of a sermon, please complete the “Sermon Request” form located on the bulletin board in the back of church.  If you have requested a sermon, your CD or cassette tape copy can be picked up from off the bookshelf.

You are encouraged to begin your Sunday by tuning in to the Reformed Witness Hour.  It is broadcast every Sunday morning at 8:00 AM on WYLL, 1160 on the AM dial.
