The Young People’s Society will meet today immediately following the morning worship service.
Women’s Bible Study will meet this
Wednesday morning at Cornerstone PRC. Refreshments will start at 10:15 a.m. and
Bible Study will begin at 10:30 a.m. The discussion will be on Lesson 12 (I
Peter 4:1-7) in the study Guide by Rev. C. Hanko. The children’s Bible Story
will be “Jesus Calms the Storm” and the memory work is John 6:36. Refreshments will be served by Rachel H.

The Council will meet
Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. immediately followed by the Consistory meeting.
The annual congregation
meeting will be held at Peace PRC on Thursday, December 3. The nominations for Elder: Mr. Arthur Boer, Mr.
Duane Bruinsma, Mr. Lewis De Jong, Mr. Troy Maatman, Mr. Philip E. Van Baren
and Mr. Keith Van Drunen. Nominations
for deacon: Mr. Timothy De Jong, Mr. Chad Dykstra, Mr. George Ophoff and Mr. Daniel
Van Uffelen. Objections to any of the
nominees must be presented in writing to the Clerk of Council. A lawful
objection is one which alleges that the election of one of these nominees would
violate the Church Order or God’s Word.

CHURCH FAMILY
Elaine Van Der Noord had knee replacement surgery this past
Monday. The surgery went well and she returned home Thursday for recuperation.

(Grandville), and Rev. J. Marcus (
The Reformed Witness Hour can be
heard on WYLL, 1160 AM, at 8 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Next week’s topic is “Yet Will I Rejoice in
the Lord” based on Habakkuk 3:17-19.
REQUESTED ANNOUNCEMENTS
The school finance committee reports that the recent Fall
Dinner raised $35,720.00. We would also like to give a quarterly update on
dues, envelopes and collections, for dues we have received $31,800.00 of
$49,500.00, for HCHS collections and envelopes we need $112,795.00 and
have collected $15,530.00, for PRCS collections and envelopes we need
$71,000.00 and have collected $12,100.00. We thank the association for their
support and our God who continues to bless us in this way.
The Protestant Reformed special Education Drive is being conducted the weeks of November 15 and 22 through the mail. Our goal this year is $104,000. We earnestly pray that with God’s gracious help we can attain this goal.
