Centuries ago, the average Christian read very little due to the difficulty in accessing books and a lack of education. While we have access to many books today and generally are well-educated, are we a reading people? Do we understand the vital importance of reading, physically and spiritually? To learn more, join RFPA staff and Association members at Southwest PRC on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 7:30 P.M. Joel Minderhoud, teacher at Covenant Christian High School, will speak on the topic "Is Your Brain Being Wired for Deeper Thinking? – The Christian's Calling and Incentive to Read." All friends and supporters of the RFPA, especially parents and their children (including teenagers), are encouraged to attend this timely speech. Hear about the work of the RFPA Board and staff over the past year and celebrate with us as we look forward into the next year. Refreshments, catered by the Taste of Hope, will be served!
