“Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory.” Psalm 115:1

What We Believe…

We believe that it is the bounden duty of every child of God to search the Scriptures, to hold on to, guard, and defend the doctrines contained therein such as those taught by the prophets of old and written by God’s servants under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit through time and course of church history.

As BEREANS . . .

We believe that there is only one true and eternal God whose sovereignty over all things is absolute and infinite in all its meanings and implications without qualifications.

We believe the Reformed faith to be the same historic faith derived from Jesus Christ and the apostles’ teachings, and expressed in various documents and forms by the Reformers, namely:

The Ecumenical Creeds: Apostles’ Creed, Nicene Creed, Athanasian Creed, and Creed of Chalcedon; The Three Forms of Unity: Heidelberg Catechism, Belgic Confession, and Canons of Dordrecht; and The Five Solas of the Reformation: Sola Scriptura, Sola Gratia, Sola Fide, Solus Cristus, and Soli Deo Gloria.

We believe that a true Christian believer is born to be a Berean, continually exhibiting desire for knowledge and right understanding of God’s Word, and ever aiming chiefly to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.
