The radio speaker on the Reformed Witness Hour for June 2013 is Rev.Carl Haak, who will be doing a series on marriage over the next few months. See the flyer for a list of the June messages.

On Friday evening, May 31 at 8:00 pm, the School Board is sponsoring a lecture on the history of the Christian school movement from the time of the Protestant Reformation.  The title of the speech is “The Reformation’s Zeal for Christian Schools.”  The speaker will be Prof. Russell Dykstra of the Protestant Reformed Seminary.  After the lecture there will be a time of questions and answers and then a time of fellowship in the basement.

Plan to attend a presentation by Rev. R.Smit on his and Rev. D.Kleyn’s mission work in the Philippines. The event is planned for June 30 at 8:15 P.M. in Southwest PRC. Come and show your support for this exciting and important work that our churches are doing.

May 19, 2013 - Faith PRC's Council presents the following trio to the congregation:  Rev. C. Griess (Calvary PRC), Rev. J. Marcus (1st PRC, Edmonton), and Rev. C. Spronk (Peace PRC).  The congregational meeting is scheduled for Sunday, June 2, right after the evening service.

The Evangelism Committee is sponsoring a 2-class lecture series "Jehovah's Witnesses: What they Believe and How to Witness to Them." Dates for the lectures will be Tuesday June 25, and Tuesday July 2. We anticipate meeting at the church property. More information to come as the time approaches!

The Consistory has approved a request from the faculty of the seminary that our Consistory and Pastor oversee the internship of Seminarian Joshua Engelsma. The Lord willing Seminarian Engelsma, his wife Courtney, and children Calvin and Charlotte, will be part of our congregation’s life and fellowship from July 1 to December 31. We look forward to welcoming the Engelsma family into our midst.
