Did you notice in our recent newsletters that Cambodia has been in the top five countries with the most RWH message downloads every month so far this year? That means you are supporting people in Cambodia who are deliberately seeking out, downloading, and listening to RWH messages. We believe Christ has His church in every nation, tribe, and tongue, help us reach them! Please continue to support RWH by listening, telling others about use, financially and with prayer!
What Do You Know About Cambodia? The Kingdom of Cambodia is a country located in the southern portion of the Indochinese Peninsula in Southeast Asia. The major religion of Cambodia was Theravada Buddhism which holds closely to original Buddhist doctrines. During the reign of Khmers Rouges (a communist movement) from 1975-80, religious practice was forbidden. Theravada was encouraged again after 1980 but has had little growth. Minority religions include Mahayana Buddhism, Roman Catholicism, Cao Dai and Muslim. Recently, several urban Cambodians (Khmer) have converted to Evangelical Protestantism.
When a church sponsors the Reformed Witness Hour, we air a promo before or after the week’s radio message that features the church. We can deliver a standard announcement that promotes your church, or your pastor or someone else from your church can write and voice the clip. If your church has a special conference or lecture coming up, consider using this sponsorship to advertise the event to local listeners who might have an interest in the topic.
