  • Don't forget to follow the Kleyn's blog on life and activities in the Philippines. And that also includes the Holstege's one! And the Smits once again too!
  • From this Sunday's bulletins of the Provident Christian Church in Marikina, the Philippines and the Maranatha PRC in Valenzuela we find the following notes concerning their pastors as well as concerning our missionaries and their labors today and in this coming week:
    • Provident CC:
      • Rev. Smit will preach both times today. Rev. Holstege will preach for the Bearers of Light Community Church, a new contact, in Guiguinto, Bulacan. Rev.Kleyn will preach in Maranatha PRC. Next week, Revs. Kleyn and Holstege will each preach one time for PCC, Lord willing.

      • All who are attending PCC are invited to the Holstege house in Antipolo on Friday, March 30, any time after 2 pm. Please join us for a time of food and fellowship with each other! Ask a member of the SC for directions or a ride.

      • For Youth Fellowship, we will have a song service to rejoice in the resurrection of our Lord next Sunday, April 1, at 1:30. Everyone is invited!

    • Maranatha PRC:

      • Our Missionary, Rev. D. Kleyn will lead our first service and our second sermon today is a Preparatory sermon with a view to the administration of the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper next Sunday, the Lord willing. Our second sermon today is also preached in light of Article 67 of our Church Order: "The churches shall observe Sunday alone, and shall observe the truth of Christ’s birth, His passion and death, His resurrection, His ascension to heaven, and the pouring out of the Holy Spirit, on the Sunday preceding the day, or on the Sundays, that these events are commonly observed.”

      • After the second service he will begin leading our study of the Belgic Confession of Faith today. This will benefit all of us as a review of our Reformed doctrines. It will also serve as preparation for those who desire to make public confession of their faith in our church.
      • The June 2018 Synod of the PRCA will officially ratify our sister relationship with PRCA, also with the concurrence of the CERC of Singapore and CPRC of Northern Ireland. The recent meeting of the Classis of PRCP has moved and approved the recommendation to send Rev. Leovino A. Trinidad, as the official PRCP delegate to the June 2018 Synod of the PRCA, D.V. Likewise, Rev. Daniel Holstege will also attend the Synod while he is on furlough in June of this year. Please include them in your prayer.

Let us remember and continue to lift up the needs of these busy pastors and missionaries in the Philippines. May the Lord of the harvest give them grace to be faithful in all their labors.
