First PRC of Edmonton AB has just produced the pamphlet, "The Christian Life," by John Calvin. This pamphlet is made up of chapters 6 through 10 of book 3 of the institutes. It includes chapters on "Scriptural arguments exhorting us to holiness," "Not our own," "Self-denial and bearing the cross," "Aspiring to the future life," and "Rightly using the present life and its comforts." The pamphlet is suitable for a variety of settings including discussion groups in the churches. We will be distributing these to churches free of charge, at least initially. If evangelism committees want to help offset future printing costs, they are welcome to contribute $2 per pamphlet, or we could work out a pamphlet exchange.
