The Evangelism Committee of Randolph PRC (WI) is hosting a lecture this Friday, October 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the church. Dr. Nate Lanning, a cancer biologist at the Van Andel Research Institute in Grand Rapids, MI, will be speaking on "Understanding Evolution from the Reformed Perspective". Dr.Lanning will show that being a dedicated Christian scientist does not mean caving in to the pressures of modern evolutionism, but that one can and must maintain a faithful Biblical stand while working in the sciences today. All in the area are cordially invited to attend this timely lecture on a vitally important subject.

Did you know that the Heidelberg Catechism was approved for use on January 18, 1563? The Edgerton PRC evangelism committee is sponsoring a presentation given by Pastor Doug Kuiper entitled “The Value of the Heidelberg Catechism: A Presentation Commemorating the Heidelberg Catechism’s 450th anniversary.” It will be held Friday, October 4, 7:30pm, at the Chandler Community Center. The Edmonton PRC Evangelism Committee is sponsoring a lecture entitled, "The Reformed Worldview," to be given this Friday evening, September 27, at 7:00 p.m. by Rev. Steve Key, in the church. Rev. Key is pastor of the Loveland PRC in Loveland, CO, and has been developing the concept of the Reformed worldview in a series of articles in The Standard Bearer. In the course of his lecture Rev.Key will answer such questions as, How are we to view the world? What is our calling in the world? What is the church's calling? Those in the area and beyond are cordially invited and encouraged to attend this timely lecture.
Loveland (CO) PRC's Evangelism Committee is sponsoring a special lecture to be held this Thursday, September 26, at 7pm. in the church. Prof. David J. Engelsma will speak on “The Coming of the Kingdom of Christ: ‘Christianizing’ the World?” The lecture will not only critique the common grace and Christian Reconstruction projects of turning this world into the kingdom of Christ before the second coming, but it will also emphasize the Reformation’s “office of all believers” in living and advancing the kingdom of Christ in all areas of everyday, earthly life.
