Rev. R.Smit and Rev. D.Kleyn will be traveling to Southern Negros Occidental this week Monday through Wednesday (May 20-22). They will be conducting classes with a group of pastors there on Monday and Wednesday. On Tuesday they will be giving their speeches in Hinobaan on the theme “The Sovereignty Of God Over All Things.”
The annual BPRC’s conference was held on April 26. Rev. R.Smit and Rev. D.Kleyn gave the four speeches concerning “The Sovereignty Of God Over All Things” (Sovereignty and Creation, Sovereignty and Salvation, Sovereignty and the Inspiration of Scripture, Sovereignty and the Responsibility of Man). [From the 1st Reformed Church of Bulacan Bulletin]: Missionary R.Smit and his family (the Philippines) will soon be taking a six week furlough to the USA. They plan to leave on June 4, and return mid-July. Rev. Smit will give presentations to the PRCA members concerning the mission work here in the Philippines. He will also preach in some of the churches, and attend the annual PRCA Synod (June 11-14). May God bless their time away and give them safety as they travel.
