Prof. Russell Dykstra and his wife, Carol, have returned home safely from
Singapore. Prof. Dykstra reports that
they greatly enjoyed their time of labors in Covenant Church and that there
are many evidences of the Lord’s blessings upon His church there.
Especially during this time of crisis the church is in great need of
help from our churches. The Contact
Committee is working on arranging for this help in the way of sending
ministers from our church for temporary periods of preaching and work for
the benefit of the saints there. “The Answer in an Age of Uncertainty” conference, sponsored by Hudsonville and Faith PRC’s Evangelism Committees, was held January 27 with Rev.G. Eriks and our pastor, Rev. A. Lanning speaking. If you would like to listen to the messages from this conference, click here. Prof. Hanko completed a 6 week stay in Singapore. He informs us that the
congregation in Singapore is doing well, delighting in the Reformed and
biblical truth. He urges us to pray for the saints there, especially for the
young people in their zeal. The need for solid, ongoing preaching is great.
He informed the Covenant congregation that almost certainly this would be
his last trip to Singapore. |
